Burr, it's cold out there…so let's get outside! In the winter, life slows and quiets down. There is less animal activity to see and fewer sounds to hear. But there is still much to explore! Without the frenzy that comes with warm weather we can focus on the critters who have stuck around. Dressed in our coats, boots and mittens we will think about how animals have adapted to live outside all winter long. Experimenting with and discussing different adaptation strategies: fat, fur, feather, fort, flight, freezing and flow.
A snug cabin and cozy drinks will be available to warm our chilly bones. All children must be accompanied by a guardian.
