The joy of spring is upon us and with it comes a great awakening within our seasonal waters, the vernal ponds. And mud, don't forget the mud! This is a great time to explore outside with kids - drenching ourselves with the good stuff: the sloppy, slimy, sloshy ingredients for life in some of it's smaller forms. Please join us for this exploratory kids hike! We'll be on the lookout for all sorts of vernal pond residents including frogs, salamanders, turtles, fairy shrimp, water bugs and more!
This program will absolutely feature muddy conditions so come dressed with that in mind.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
A tasty snack and drink will be provided! This event meets at 2PM at 11983 Noggles Rd. Manchester, MI.
