It is November. The green signs of the growing season have faded to yellows and browns and dropped to the earth to decompose. But this is not an indicator of death for many plants, but simply a shift in focus from the above to below ground.  Come join us at the commencement of the root season as we examine and discuss various tap roots, rhizomes, tubers, bulbs, corms, some of their edible and medicinal aspects, how and when to harvest and get dirty!  Bring a digging fork, shovel or digging stick.
